The Housing Minister vows to back i2’s Prestige Project with commited support

“The government remains steadfast in its commitment and support for the Prestige residential project,” stated the Minister for Works and Housing, Francis Asenso-Boakye, during the grand launch at the Kempinski Gold Coast City Hotel in Accra. He emphasized the government’s dedication to fostering a conducive environment for the real estate sector’s growth and highlighted the potential economic benefits of the project: “Through these projects, we anticipate the creation of numerous jobs, fostering economic growth, and significantly benefiting the economy as a whole.”

The Prestige development, set to occupy 2.88 acres near the Airport Shell Fuel Station and opposite the Marina Mall, aims to reshape the Airport skyline, redefine luxury living in Ghana’s capital, and boost the country’s tourism receipts.

Youssef Aitour, Co-Founder and Managing Director of i2 Development Ghana Limited, expressed appreciation, stating, “I would like to reiterate our appreciation to the Government of Ghana for its massive contribution to the success of our project that will provide directly and indirectly through our contractors and subcontractors more than 2000 job opportunities.” He also acknowledged the government’s role in ensuring a safe and stable investment climate that facilitated the realization of the Prestige project: “We would like to further acknowledge the government’s effort in ensuring a safe and stable investment climate that makes the influx of investment like ours possible.”
